June (Stolen) Favorites

I couldn't help but think this reminded me of being 7 years old again and sneaking into mum's make-up bag to 'borrow' her expensive blusher. Before scampering back to my room, I'd quickly place all the items back to there original places so she'd never know - I'm sure she did!
Now, I'm home from University and diving into the bathroom cupboard to see what goodies I can find.  So here are my (stolen) June Favourites so far …
Laura Ashley, Imperial Bloom Body Lotion - This beautifully fragrant lotion with pomegranate extract (my favourite) is leaving my skin silky soft at the moment. Light, thin and perfect to hydrate skin while the summer weather is on its way.

Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden, Hand Cream - Now that I'm back to work this velvety cream has worked a treat, taking care of my hands and nails. A new favourite brand I think!

Moroccan Oil, Intense Curl Cream -  I left this gem at home when I went to University and forgot just how great Moroccan Oil is! If you've used it you'll know - there is no turning back with any of the product from the brand. Rather than a salt spay this cream gives me great curls without drying my hair out too. No crusty curls, just great bounce and volume!

Vita Liberata, Tinted Self Tan Gel -  Purchase from Boots around the twenty-five pound mark this tan has been worth every penny. It's a perfect golden/brown in colour and I still haven't found a single streak. Applied with with the Solan Mitt this golden bronze glow lasts up to a week! Time to fake it not bake it this summer.

Di Paloma, White Grape - Stolen from my lovely mum (The Fragrance Queen) this perfume is GORGEOUS! Light and summer, its a refreshing break from my usual favourites. I love a change in perfume…. don't you?

L'Occitane Hibiscus Flower Hand Cream & Lip Balm -  I alway hear great reviews on L'Occitane products and these are no exception. Miniature size, these two products will defiantly stay in my handbag for the next few months. Summery packaging print & summery scent…. Gosh, I'm so excited summer has finally arrived - can you tell?

Hope you've enjoyed my first favourites post!

Great Britain

I'd be lying if I told you that over the four years I lived in Australia I didn't miss the UK. Yes… the sun shines everyday, the beaches are out of this world and having a pool in your back garden is pretty dreamlike. But there truly is nothing like home.
Keswick, Cumbria
I live in the Lake District. And coming home to all the Autumn leaves and having to wear a coat for the first time in four years was a heartwarming feeling.
The View From Our Cottage (Appleby-In-Westmorland)
And to my delight this was followed by much missed snow! Inches and Inches of it for the most perfect white Christmas, reunited with our family.
My Granny, Auntie Rachel, Mum and Lovely Cousin Niamh
As those of you in the UK know, once Spring was over we had one of the best summers Britain had seen. Perhaps not Australian temperatures but I still managed a day or two at  a very pebbly beach.
Beautiful Brighton
The sunshine meant lots of lovely day trips, travelling all over the country in my little car to explore with Thomas.
Camden Markets, London
There is nowhere quite like England. No matter how far I travel and the time length I'm away….. When I board my connecting flight and hear a lovely English accents there is nothing better than knowing I'm going home.
